I offer custom, individualised training programs for those looking to reach their fitness goals.

I specialise in body recomposition for girls and guys in their 20s and 30s.

Is online coaching right for you?

You should probably not be seeking online coaching if…

You’re a complete beginner and unfamiliar with the standard gym equipment (barbells, dumbbells, machines, etc). You’re still fairly new and primarily seeking motivation, encouragement, and accountability in a real life setting. (Not that I am unfriendly and discouraging, but online coaching undeniably has certain limitations in this regard.) You’re currently going through a hectic phase in life with undue stress.

Online coaching is potentially a good choice if…

You have a specific goal you’d like help in reaching. You want to take away the planning, second guessing, and tinkering with program design. You haven’t been seeing results training by yourself, with a cookie cutter online program, or with a local gym PT.

What you’ll get from me:

Review progress, track volume of training, assess other variables of training Answer questions relating to training, nutrition, and lifestyle Be in your corner to provide support, guidance, and encouragement

What this doesn’t include:

Rehabilitation of injuries – please see an exercise physiotherapist! (A physio with legitimate resistance training experience in the gym is always the best option.) Detailed dietary advice with specific meal plans – please see a registered dietician! (A qualified RD, not some PT with a nutrition cert.)

What I’ll need from you:

Noting your exercises, sets, and reps done during your workouts in the app provided. Recording occasional form video of exercises done, especially at the start of a program block. Completing a weekly check-in form. This is a few standard questions to track progress and recovery, done at your own time. A genuine effort in simply attending the gym (or your home gym if that exists). That’s why all my clients start with an up-front package – to ensure a level of commitment to the programming.

The consult process

I’m a big believer in openness and transparency – here’s exactly what will happen.

Shoot off an e-mail or book a call where we can discuss your goals. Feel free to go into as much detail as you’d like – the more information I have the better I’ll be able to respond. This may go back and forth (if it’s through email) If you’re ready to proceed, you will fill in a client intake form. This is a detailed questionnaire to understand your training background, your current activity levels, and to go over your goals in more detail.  I will review the form and provide a response. Together, we’ll agree on a goal for the next 12 weeks. You will have an opportunity to see if we’re a good fit and decide if you’d like to commit. Payment is conducted and the first week of the custom training program will be sent through. Each session and each week will aim to build towards your goal, whether it’s weight loss, muscle gain, strength increase, or something else.

The coaching process

Workouts will be found in an app. Exercises, alternatives to exercises, the specific reps or a repetition range, sets, tempo, the details of a workout split, cardio, will all be detailed.  Weekly check-in Communication will be done through in-app messages and emails. There won’t be regular scheduled calls to add to your already busy schedule. Simple correspondence is easiest within the app itself where messages can be sent. 95% of the time, I will respond within 24 hours. Detailed correspondence is easiest through emails. Voice/video calls can be scheduled if either you or I feel it would be easier to discuss in detail.
